Historical Tours in Bavaria
There are also some historically interesting places in Bavaria. These include the former concentration camp Dachau, which still documents, as a reminder, the crimes of the Nazi era.
The Kehlsteinhaus, also known as Eagle's Nest, is located in the middle of the idyllic Berchtesgaden region on the Obersalzberg. In addition to its historical significance as a former NS residence, visitors can explore not only the history, but also the surrounding and the panorama.
Nuremberg, especially famous for its Christmas Market and the historic center, gained a worldwide historical significance through the Nuremberg processes. A document center, erected on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds deals extensively with this section of German history.
